  8th October 2005, is a day that no Pakistani can forget. A devastating earthquake hit the northern areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir wherein millions of people became homeless and properties were destroyed. Hundreds of thousands of precious lives including men, women & children were lost and lot of people injured. At this hour of extreme grief and sorrow, the staff of KIMCO and their directors sent clothing material immediately for the victims, and through the help of Media, Kimco Advertising launched a massive campaign in print media whereby the message “donate generously” was conveyed through advertisements at large.

Kimco Advertising holds first lucky draw for Umrah

Karachi (Staff Reporter) The well-known ad agency M/s. Kimco Advertising (Pvt) Ltd has decided to send one staff member for Umrah every year through ballot. The first lucky draw in this respect was held on Friday, the 20th October 2006.

Mr. Waqar H. Haidri, Managing Director Kimco Advertising monitored the draw by himself through which Mr. Azeem Qureshi was announced as the first lucky person to perform Umrah on behalf of the company. The winning member will leave for Umrah sometime next year. This ceremony was attended by all the heads of the departments and staff members in addition to the company chairman.

The management of Kimco has taken various measures during the last few years for the welfare of the staff which include provision of company maintained car to one senior employee every year, motorbikes for outdoor staff and group insurance for the employees.
